This is a silk screen print I am currently working on for a class project. The class is print making and the design is a four color tropical fish. I started by drawing directly onto my silk screen with a sharpie what I intend to print. I then blocked out all of the places I want to leave white when I print on my paper. Next I dropped a coat of yellow paint onto my screen for my first color. I will then block out on the screen all of the places I need to leave yellow on my print so when I lay down my next layer of paint it does not cover the yellow.

Dropped first layer of paint onto the silk screen. Next I will paint in block out paint directly onto the screen blocking out every place I need to keep yellow on the print.
